Chili Con Carne Lentils
Spicy lentils with tomato and coriander.

Serves 2 (350g)

Ingredients
Lentils, coriander, chilli, ground cumin, sunflower oil, celery, carrot, tomato, tomato paste, vinegar, salt, pepper, herbs, sugar.
Cooking Instructions
OVEN
If possible cook from defrosted
• Preheat oven to 180°C. Remove lid
• Place in the centre of the oven
500g (Serves 1/2)
Cook time: 20-25 minutes
or until golden brown
700g (Serves 2-3)
Cook time: 35-40 minutes
or until golden brown
1kg (Serves 3-4)
Cook time: 40-45 minutes
or until golden brown
2.8kg (Serves 8-10)
Cook time: 50-75 minutes
or until golden brown
If frozen increase cooking time. Cover with aluminium foil halfway through the cooking to avoid over browning or drying out.
Allow food to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Coconut Dahl
Brown lentils in a spicy coconut sauce with fresh coriander.

Sunflower oil, garlic, tomato, coriander, brown lentils, coconut milk, ground cumin, paprika, curry powder, chilli, salt, pepper.
